The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) enables all Singapore Citizens, including Pioneer Generation (PG) and Merdeka Generation (MG) cardholders, to receive subsidies for medical and/or dental care* at participating General Practitioner (GP) and dental clinics.
The branding of the CHAS card has been revised from “Health Assist" to “CHAS". Existing “Health Assist" cardholders should continue to use the card till the end of the validity period that is indicated on card. Successful CHAS applicants will be issued with the new “CHAS" card designs from March 2019 onwards.
