CHAS, Merdeka Generation (MG) and Pioneer Generation (PG) cardholders can receive CHAS subsidies for common illnesses*, selected chronic conditions and selected dental services* at participating General Practitioner (GP) and dental clinics. Eligible cardholders who receive invitation letters for the
Screen for Life (SFL) programme from the Health Promotion Board (HPB) can also get subsidised health checks done at CHAS GP clinics.
Cardholders can enjoy subsidies at public Specialist Outpatient Clinics (SOCs) or public dental National Speciality Centre (NSC)*. To receive subsidies for visits to public SOCs or dental NSC*, CHAS cardholders have to be referred by their CHAS GP or dentist. From 1 November 2020, all Singapore Citizens who meet the criteria for vaccination under the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule (NCIS) and National Adult Immunisation Schedule (NAIS) are eligible for subsidies for nationally-recommended vaccinations at CHAS GP clinics. Visit

*Only for CHAS Blue/Orange, MG and PG cardholders Common IllnessesCommon illnesses are episodic acute conditions that can usually be resolved without long-term follow-up. Here are some examples of common illnesses covered under CHAS:
- Abdominal pain
- Cough, cold, flu
- Diarrhoea
- Fever
- Headache
- Skin infection and rashes
- Sore eyes
- Urinary tract infection

Chronic ConditionsChronic conditions are medical conditions that are generally progressive and require long-term care and medication. There are 20 chronic conditions covered under CHAS. They are:

- Asthma
- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
- Bipolar Disorder+
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
- Dementia
- Diabetes Mellitus (DM) (including Pre-Diabetes)
- Epilepsy
- Hypertension (High blood pressure)
- Ischaemic Heart Disease
- Lipid Disorders (e.g. High cholesterol)

- Chronic Kidney Disease (Nephritis/Nephrosis)
- Osteoarthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Parkinson's Disease

Dental ServicesCHAS Blue, CHAS Orange, MG and PG cardholders can receive subsidies for selected dental services at participating dental clinics. The table below reflects the dental services covered under CHAS, and the claim limits and subsidy amount for each type of service according to the different CHAS tiers.
Please note that the dentist will need to make a clinical assessment to determine whether patients meet the CHAS claim guidelines for each dental procedure. Patients should speak with their dentists for more information.
